A NASA-style “Clickworkers” project for the social sciences. This initiative will provide clipped testimonies from two ossified databases, along with instructions for identifying features of consensus-based collaboration. The software will compute the gap between the analyses of lay participants and experts, grounding the legitimacy of scientific knowledge production in measured consensus.
The growing pushback against science calls for new approaches to knowledge production. This project responds by integrating consensus mechanisms into the scientific process—strengthening the grounding of discoveries and reaffirming the role of scientific inquiry in addressing complex problems.
This study combines narrative analysis with p2p software to compute the gap between experts and lay audiance in narrative analysis.
